Z&Z Woodcrafters is a small fine woodworking shop based in north-central West Virginia. Founded by Stephen Talkington in 2011, we are a traditional joinery woodshop that uses new technology when it leads to a better product.

We make a wide range of products that include:

For the past several weeks I've been working on some custom cabinets for a restaurant bar. Two to go under a counter that had to be 48" wide, 24" deep, and 40" tall. They also needed a 96"×24" island base. It was a big job due to the sizes, but I got it done. Turned out great i think. #woodworking #zandzwood
Table i delivered yesterday. 7 feet long. Mahogany. Featuring breadboard ends. The tables has metal legs that have a 4x4 post that runs through them for stability. The post is held in place with wedges.

It's not my year. Someone stole the copper wire from my shop. I fell off a ladder and busted up my ankle. I got stung by over 50 yellow jackets while saving my dog from a nest of them. I hit two deer with my truck coming home late from work a few weeks ago. And now my domino cutter bit broke when I needed it to finish a table I'm working on. A brand new bit. About 1/4" snapped off the end. I'm pretty salty about it lol. Will take a week to get a new one in.

Someone stole the grounding wire and ground rods from the outside of my shop. When I was fixing it, I fell off the ladder, and my foot got caught in the ladder on the way down. But after many weeks of being lazy I can finally walk on my own again.
